1. Admission conditions for foreign students (outside Erasmus mobilities):

In order to apply to our university the folowing are neccesary:
- a highschool graduation certificate
- good knowledge of English Language (the applicant will be examined in Bucharest)
- the payment of the examination tax of 320 USD. If admitted the tuition fee of 240 USD per month has to be paid (an exception from regular fees is made by the Ministery of Education and Research by lowering the fee for foreign students of Romanian nationality). The university year is of 10 months.


A limited number of places has been created for foreign students to study Medicine in English language (28 for the university year 2003 - 2004). To read the Admission Rules for studying Medicine in English, click on the links below depending on the desired language:

Applicants have to present themselves at the Foreign Languages Dept. located in the Faculty of Medicine, 8 Eroii Sanitari Blvd.

4. Other Information:

Undergraduate students curriculum last 6 years for medicine and dentistry, and 5 years for pharmacy. The program is common for Romanian and foreign students (Romanian citizens have to take a public exam, those that pass the exam receive a grant from the Romanian Government that covers the tuiton fee). The tuition fee for foreign students is 240 USD per month. For Romanian citizens there are free places and places with fees.

The Academic year starts at October 1st.

There are facilities for accomodation and food in student`s campus.
