Should it be payed in cash or by credit card? |
The tax can be payed eather way. I would suggest cash after reaching in Bucharest, in order to be sure that the application folder is complete and accepted.
The University policy is that the student manages to find accomodation by himself. You can find on the website the internet address of the youth hostel network in bucharest, being a cheap, central and comfortable option.
One should have the admission tax money. Probably the immigration officer will ask you to certify that you do have the necessary money to cover your life expenses during your staying in Romania. I'm not sure but these expenses are arround 50-100 USD/day. However it is not necessary to have them in cash. There are enough ATMs in Bucharest
You should ask for a long-stay visa for studies (symbol D/SD). Other types of visas are not accepted for application by our university.
If there is no official translation office (Notar with translation office) in your country you can try at the Romanian Consulate in your country. An ordinary translation will be considered valid for application only if it is bearing the seal of the Romanian Embassy/Consulate in your country.
320 USD examination tax, 380 USD tuiton fee x 10 months (academic year). the tax is fixed, however the university approves the value of the tax each year, so it can be subject to changes.
Medical textbooks are offered by the university for free during the academic year. accomodation charges are presented on the website.the medical insurance is covered by the tuiton fee. food is pretty cheap for a european country, we will set a webpage soon that will include life expenses for students
No, all the exams, will be conducted in our university
All the students get 2 months vacation. Vacation periods can be checked also on our website (check with the Academic Calendar Webpage). An approximative answer would be 25 july-1 october summer holidays (minus 3 weeks summer hospital practice) 20 dec - 12 jan winter holidays a week in march before 2nd semester 1 week in april-may - Easter holidays
