Curriculum and credits

Curriculum medicine
Curriculum dentistry
Curriculum pharmacy

Each university year contains 60 credits. 50 credits per year are required to pass in the next university year.

In the Faculty of Medicine all the credits for the preclinical years have to be obtained before beginning the clinical years (after finishing the first two years). For the Faculty of Pharmacy the credits were approved in September 2001, for the next university years.

In the "Carol Davila" University (as in all Romania) the marks are from 1 to 10. The mark 5 is sufficient to pass the exam and to receive the credits, being equivalent to the E grade of ECTS. The mark 4 in Romania is equivalent to the FX (Fail) ECTS grade. The A (ECTS) grade is equivalent to the 10 mark.
